Interactive Videoconferencing - IVC

The McMillen Center has recently begun taking advantage of videoconferencing technology to share its programs with schools and other organizations that would otherwise not have the ablity to come to the Center.

The educators are able to connect with one or more schools from any location worldwide, and interact with the students just as if they were in the same room. Props are also shipped to the connecting site to help enhance the learning experience.

The McMillen Center currently offers 7 programs through the use of the videoconferencing technology. Below is a listing of those programs:

Coughin' to Coffin Grades 8-12 Ages 14-19
HIV/AIDS Grades 5-6 Ages 10-13
STD's Not for Me Grades 8-12 Ages 14-19
Testicular Self-Exam Grades 8-12 Ages 14-19
The News About Booze Grades 8-12 Ages 14-19
Don't Give Me Any Bull Grades 3-4

Ages 8-11
