Programs
The McMillen Center is recognized as the number one resource for health education in the Northern Indiana region – reaching nearly 40,000 youth a year. Whether you want to bring a group of students to the McMillen Center, have one of our educators visit your school or community group, or take part in an Interactive Videoconference program, you are sure to receive a fun, interactive program.
The cost is $5.00 per student with no charge for adults and chaperones. Discounts are available when multiple grades from the same school visit. Please call for details.

We also provide programs for those individuals with special needs through our Life Skills Series and can customize programs to meet your needs.
Curriculum
Our curriculum is interdisciplinary in its approach, using a variety of teaching methods and tools, including hands-on models, role playing, and interactive games – all with the aid of advanced technology. Each program is aligned with the Indiana Academic Standards for Health Education and the National Standards for Health Education. Our goal for our programs is to incorporate youth participation, making the learning environment fun and highly effective. Topics are age appropriate and designed to maximize positive outcomes in knowledge, attitude, and life-long behavior.
