GRANTS – Youth Serving

ACELINK
Grades: Kindergarten – 12th
Focus: Any IVC Program
Eligibility: Teachers can apply to receive ACELINK funded IVC sessions of their choice; Public schools and Bishop Dwenger High School (Allen County, IN).

FWCS, EACS, SACS AND NACS have this equipment available from their Technology Dept. Contact Twila  for more information.

Focus: Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Abuse Prevention
Eligibility: Allen County, Indiana

Grades: 3rd – 12th
Focus: Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Prevention; Human Growth and Development; Disease Prevention and Early Detection, Bullying Prevention and General Health
Eligibility: DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble, and Steuben Counties in Indiana

One Price Wednesdays
Attend any program at the McMillen Center, the Botanical Conservatory, the History Center or Science Central on the same day. McMillen Center fees drop to $4.00 per student. Other sites offer discounts as well! Free transportation may be available. Click here for more details. 

School Discount
Volume discounts are available to schools and districts.  A discounted rate of $4.50 per student will be given to any school or district that schedules 33% (or more) of their grade levels. A discounted rate of $4.00 per student will be given to schools or districts that schedule 50% (or more) of their grade levels. Complete an Intent Form before September 30 to receive this discount.

OTHER

Target
Target believes that learning opportunities extend beyond the classroom, and they understand that schools find it difficult to pay for such excursions.  Attend the McMillen Center with a Field Trip Grant valued up to $700. Call the McMillen Center if you need additional information to complete the application form at (260) 456-4511.

(Application process held annually. Every Target store will award three Target Field Trip Grants to K-12 schools nationwide.)
