Food to Go

Ages: 5-8 Grade Levels: K-1 Time/Duration: 45 Minutes
Program Description:
This program is designed for younger students to start looking at healthy food options and good ways to keep themselves physically fit, so they are able to make a lifetime of good and healthy choices. Students will learn how to use the Food Guide Pyramid, choose healthy snack options, and discover easy and fun exercise options that can be applied to their everyday lives. Students will also analyze how a non-nutritious diet will affect the body. Young students are empowered to “get up and go” towards those healthy lifestyle options.
