Interactive Videoconferencing (IVC) Distance Education

Interactive Videoconferencing allows schools and other organizations that would otherwise not have the ability to come to the McMillen Center to enjoy our fun, interactive programs.

Through IVC, students from all over the country and beyond can connect with the McMillen Center to receive vital health education. Through live videoconferencing, students will share in two-way conversations with our educators, interacting with the students just as if they were in the same room. Props are also shipped to the connecting site to help enhance the learning experience.

The McMillen Center currently offers a number of programs through the use of videoconferencing technology. If you are unsure whether or not you have access to this technology, your principal or technology specialists should be able to provide that information to you.
