Debbie Harvey, Health Educator

Debbie Harvey joined the McMillen staff in August of 2008 as a Health Educator.  She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing Degree in 1990.  She is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Diabetes Educator.  Debbie is thankful for having the opportunity of teaching and working in Honduras, Kenya and Kyrgyzstan with medical missions. 

Debbie resides in Decatur, IN with her husband and two kids. She is the Library Director and serves on the School Board at Zion Lutheran School.  She delights in seeing children learn. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, step aerobics, jogging and spending time with her family.

Debbie’s primary health education interests include teaching topics which motivate people to make positive, healthy decisions.  Her favorite program to teach is Drug Free:  The Way to Be.  Debbie looks forward to meeting you at the McMillen Center for Health Education.
